A young person has recently made the decision to escape a life of domestic and family violence by relocating interstate, seeking safety and the chance to rebuild his life. He is currently in transitional accommodation, which offers him a secure place to stay—but he has left behind all of his belongings and is now facing the enormous challenge of starting over with nothing. He is in urgent need of support to cover basic essentials such as cookery and food. One of his most immediate needs is a small fridge, which would allow him to safely store meals and reduce the daily stress of food insecurity. With no access to family support and limited financial resources, he is doing his best to stay strong and focused on building a better future.
