Young person and single parent living together, imminent homelessness, needing a bed as he is sleeping on a camp mattress
GIVIT
The young person sleeps on a camping mattress or in his mother's bed, as the family indicate that they can't afford a bed for him. There is a history of DV and mental health issues impacting follow through and the mother experiences ongoing financial hardship. The young person and Mother are looking to engage in NDIS services but there are hold ups with funding and support coordination. Mum does not have capacity to pick up a bed, so delivery is preferred. The location of the bed needs to be delivered to BRIBIE ISLAND (not Caboolture as indicated in request).
