This request is for a woman experiencing homelessness after escaping family violence and the recent impacts of natural disasters, which have significantly disrupted her safety, stability and access to support. She is currently travelling through East Gippsland and living in her vehicle, with no local supports or safe accommodation options available.
She is also recovering from cancer, which is impacting her physical health, energy levels and ability to manage daily living tasks. The vehicle she is relying on for both shelter and safety has developed urgent mechanical issues, including unsafe tyres, placing her at immediate risk and limiting her ability to travel or access support safely.
She currently has limited access to basic essentials including bedding, cooking equipment, food and hygiene supplies. Support is required to assist her immediate safety, dignity and ability to stabilise while longer term supports are explored.
