I am seeking assistance for a 53-year-old single mother who is currently experiencing significant financial hardship and food insecurity.
The client has recently faced additional financial pressures following a family funeral. During this period, numerous visitors attended her property, resulting in a substantial amount of rubbish and unwanted items being left behind. To maintain the property to the required housing standards, the client was required to arrange and pay for the disposal of these items herself, placing further strain on her limited finances.
The client has advised on several occasions that she has had little to no food available at home due to her financial circumstances. Through our program, we have provided emergency food assistance on multiple occasions; however, her ongoing financial situation continues to impact her ability to meet basic living expenses, including purchasing food.
A food voucher would provide immediate relief and assist
