As a grandmother spending all her time caring for her young grandchildren, her disabled son, protecting herself from Domestic Violence (DV) and carrying out her duties as an elder in the Aboriginal community, she did not have a chance to care for herself. She has developed significant back issues reducing her mobility. Due to her sever physical health issues, she has been unable to complete any of the washing or cleaning in her house. Her old washing machine and dryer broke down in November 2025. She is desperately in need of a washing machine, a dryer, a Queen mattress, a King Single mattress, a Tall Boy. She had to get rid of a lot of these items due to being unable to clean them resulting in a severe case of mould and cockroach infestation. The Department are only limited to providing her with cleaners for her house. We are seeking support from GIVIT with the above-mentioned items.
