57 yo has experienced a heightened level of domestic violence after the 2022 flood. Her partners mental health challenges and subsequent addiction issues have increased the threat of domestic violence. She is recovering from the flood and trying to regain her financial independence to see if she can leave the relationship and have a future income. She ran a business from home making alterations and sewing. She is highly skilled but lost all her sewing equipment and materials in the flood. this has left her without an independent way to make money and makes the idea of an safe future a harder challenge to overcome. She hopes to rebuild her ability to sew again and finds comfort in making and altering clothes. Basic help to purchase equipment like an overlocker and sewing machine as well as some other basic equipment it would really benefit her wellbeing and a hope for starting a safer life. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
