Client is a single woman living on a Disability Support Pension following a serious car accident and ongoing chronic health conditions. In January 2026, the devastating fires destroyed the home she owned and all of her belongings, leaving her with the enormous task of starting again from nothing.
While she has received a small insurance payout, it is simply not enough to cover the cost of replacing the essential household items needed to make her new house a home. With her limited income, she is unable to supplement these costs from her pension, as it must cover her daily living expenses and ongoing health-related needs.
After enduring significant challenges to her health and wellbeing, she is now facing the difficult reality of rebuilding her life with very limited resources.
