Clients 12-year-old daughter has significant medical condition requiring around the clock and little ndis funding due to the nature of her condition, medical operations are ongoing leaving her unsuitable for the most part. Mum is unable to enter the workforce because of this leaving the family under constant financial stress. She is not comfortable in asking for help and has been going without for a considerable length of time. Household items are old and not working. She has a traumatic history through the foster care system many years ago and spends little to no time on buy new things that would make life a little easier, a new vacuum for example. With her children getting older it would mean a lot to her if she could afford to buy her children something nice for Christmas this year.
