Elderly woman diabetes is losing weight as her dentures don't fit leaving her fatigued and at risk of falls.

72year old lady who lives alone, has a number of health issues including diabetes type 2. She has recently been losing significant weight and when her family spoke to her about this she indicted it was because her mouth was sore.
Her dentures were too large and no longer fitted in her mouth, they were rubbing when she ate causing her pain and discomfort so she was limiting her food intake to soft foods. This has resulted in her not receiving the nutrition that she requires and her diabetes has been affected. This has left her very fatigued and at risk of falls. As she is only on Aged pension she cannot afford the expense of new set of dentures. If her application is successful she would be able to enjoy her food again and hopefully regain some of the weight she has lost, the affect on her overall health would greatly improve.
