39 year old woman is seeking urgent assistance after fleeing prolonged domestic violence. She left her abusive partner with only limited belongings and her dog, who was also subjected to abuse. She is currently living in her car with no income, no family or social supports, and nowhere safe to stay.
She moves frequently out of fear of being found by her former partner. She has contacted women’s shelters for help, however many are unable to accommodate her dog, who is her only source of companionship and emotional support during this crisis.
She is experiencing significant hardship and struggling to meet basic needs while trying to keep herself and her dog safe. Despite her circumstances, she is determined to rebuild her life and seek employment once secure accommodation is found.
Any support that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.
