Recipient is an Indigenous woman who has lived with unmanaged chronic health conditions for several years due to financial instability and hardship. She lives with type 2 diabetes and significant mental health challenges. She looks after her grandchildren full-time, putting all of her energy into their wellbeing rather than her own. Recently, she suffered the loss of a close family member and is bearing the cost of the funeral, causing further financial strain.
