YOUNG PERSON NEEDS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ATTEND HIS GRANDMOTHER'S FUNERAL

Young person is 16 years old and is currently couch surfing by staying with friends and their families. Young person has no family support as both his parents are currently incarcerated. Young person recently lost his grandmother who raised him from birth until he was 12 years old when she no longer had the capacity to continue raising him due to her age and health. He has maintained weekly contact with his grandmother by phone until the past few weeks when she was unable to speak by phone due to her declining health. YP is desperate to travel the 5 hours each way to his hometown to pay his respects to his grandmother at her funeral later this week.
