My client is a 19-year-old young woman who recently entered our refuge accommodation after experiencing Family and Domestic Violence. Due to ongoing safety concerns, she relocated interstate to establish a safe and stable environment.
Despite these challenges, she is committed to continuing her education and is currently enrolled in TAFE. However, the location of our refuge and limited public transport options make it difficult for her to travel to classes reliably and arrive on time.
We are seeking assistance with Uber vouchers to help my client attend her TAFE classes safely and consistently. Access to reliable transport will reduce barriers to her education, support her independence, and assist her in rebuilding her life after violence.
Any support would be greatly appreciated and would make a significant difference to her ability to remain engaged in her studies and work towards a positive future. Thank you for your consideration.
