Resident is affected by 2026 bushfires, total property loss.

Resident left her home thinking she would return the next day, and only took some overnight supplies, such as a pair of PJ's, 2 x change of underwear, her dog and her handbag. When she returned the following day, she unfortunately found her house completely burnt to the ground. This resident does have insurance; however, they have not made any offers to her. The resident does work and has been able to find a rental property however, most of her income is going towards covering the rent and she has been able to source some donated items of clothing, however, she lost everything. Due to the resident working she was not aware of emergency or shire payments, she could have received and it is not past the closure dates, and she is too late to apply. The resident needs some clothing, shoes, and bedding to get her by until she is offered from her insurance, she has no idea when that will be.
