A family of four, newly arrived in the area from a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background, is experiencing significant financial hardship. Mum, dad and their two children are currently sleeping on mattresses on the floor, with no beds or basic bedroom furniture. The family has no washing machine, limited clothing, and the children do not have the uniforms, shoes or school supplies they need. They have no private transport and rely on public transport while the parents search for local employment and get the children to school. Push bikes for the adults, or ideally the whole family, would greatly improve their independence. The family is working hard to establish themselves but urgently needs support with essential household items and educational needs
