Middle age woman experiencing severe financial hardship and living on the 2nd floor of an unsafe boarding house. Caring for a partner with chronic illness & physical disability, which required stopping studies to provide full-time care. Location of the boarding house creates significant accessibility challenges for the partner’s mobility needs. 6 months ago, the property was broken into, which has caused ongoing distress and worsened feelings of insecurity. Since that incident, the partner’s health has further declined, increasing the level of care required. Financial stress has been increased by the loss of AusStudy payments due to a change in circumstances that has not been resolved. The combined impact of financial hardship, lack of safe & accessible housing, increased caring responsibilities, & loss of income has created a situation of urgent need for support, secure accommodation, and restoration of financial assistance. Any assistance we can offer this woman would be appreciated
