A male aged over 50 has recently become homeless in Sydney following the breakdown of previously stable accommodation due to domestic and family violence. As a result of safety concerns, he was required to leave the residence urgently.
Initially, the client was sleeping in his vehicle; however, this option became unavailable after the vehicle was significantly damaged in a collision with a kangaroo. The client is now sleeping rough in the local area and is currently using a tent for shelter.
The client is engaged with Housing Support Services but remains without secure or temporary accommodation at this time.
