Isolated man with long-term mental illness who is currently homeless with no phone to contact Mental Health or Family
Homelessness
The individual is a man with a long history of homelessness and mental health issues. He recently had his van, that he was living in, towed and he was unable to get it back. Since then he has been living on the streets. He is supported by his Mental Health team who do not have current way to contact him to complete safety planning and provide him crucial support. This gentleman needs a mobile phone so that supports can be placed around him and he can start the process to obtain centrelink, basic benefits and work to rebuild his life.
