Community in need of basic showering facilities for those impacted by Jan 2026 Bushfire
2026 Victoria Bushfires
Following the January 2026 bushfires, more than 100 properties in our community were impacted, with households losing their homes entirely.
Ten weeks on, a number of residents still do not have access to basic showering facilities at their own properties and continue to experience significant hardship as recovery progresses.
We are seeking assistance with the provision of a temporary shower facility to be installed at the Ruffy Hub for community use. This would provide much needed dignity, comfort, and practical support to residents as they continue their recovery and rebuilding journey.
Any support—whether through the donation, loan, or installation of a shower facility—would be greatly appreciated and would make a meaningful difference to our fire affected community.
