Reception Furniture & Cultural Rug for Community Waiting Area - Migrants & Refugee

Our organisation is a not-for-profit organisation supporting newly arrived migrants, refugees, culturally and linguistically diverse families and people with disability across Canberra
Our reception area is the first point of contact for vulnerable community members, including families with young children, people experiencing hardship, and individuals navigating complex settlement challenges
As a community-based non-profit, our funding is prioritised for direct service delivery and essential client support. Unfortunately, we do not have dedicated funds available to upgrade our reception space which currently contains worn seating that is difficult to clean and no safe child-friendly play area
We are seeking support to create a welcoming, trauma-informed and culturally safe waiting environment that reflects dignity and respect for the communities we serve
Improving this space will enhance comfort, reduce stress for families waiting for appointments and provide a culturally
