A family in regional NSW has been caring for their child for the past 5 years, but instead of beautiful moments and positive memories it has been littered with the trauma of fleeing a war torn country, facing a devastating and life-limiting diagnoses for their new baby, consistent medical appointment, battling floods and now facing homelessness as a result.
This family are struggling on every front, they have a limited network of support, have limited English and are trying to navigate to complex medical world.
Following the floods, the family were living in unsafe and unhygienic conditions, but also unsure how to ask for help. No longer fit to remain, they are now facing homelessness and trying to rebuild their life to provide a safe and secure environment for their little family.
