During this period, the eldest daughter became aligned with the father and, in a recent incident, physically assaulted her mother. This has added further trauma and instability to an already complex situation.
The mother now has full care of her two younger children and has been left solely responsible for all household bills. The perpetrator has also left her in significant debt and without a vehicle, despite her having made the payments on it. This has placed the family under intense financial and emotional strain.
