We are supporting a single mum who recently escaped domestic violence and is caring for her five‑year‑old child with health issues. She lost her job unexpectedly after her former partner interfered with processes related to her employment, leaving her with no income and in significant hardship.
Despite everything, she has prioritised keeping her rent paid, often going without her own essentials. Her current tenancy is ending soon and is unlikely to be renewed. She has applied for 16 rentals with no success and is on the waiting list for support to escalate her public housing application. She has not been able to afford basic clothing or groceries for more than six months.
She urgently needs:
Clothing vouchers (including socks and underwear)
Grocery vouchers to support her and her child
Pharmacy and petrol voucher if possible
Any support will make a meaningful difference as she works toward safety and stability.
