This 55 year old man suffered an ABI 12 years ago after he was assaulted. This led to a long hospital admission, relationship breakdown and estrangement from his children, loss of employment as a painter. This lead to a long period of depression and homelessness. He has just been offered a social housing unit at Caboolture after sleeping in his car on and off for 2 years. He is ecstatic to have a safe, dry, warm place to live but he has no possessions and needs assistance with the necessities to make the unit a home.
