A single mother working hard to rebuild her life after multiple incidents of family violence has recently secured safe accommodation for herself and her teenage son. Despite this positive step, she is facing significant financial hardship. She lives with complex mental health challenges, including severe PTSD, and is unable to work, relying solely on a disability support pension.
She has endured extensive trauma yet continues to focus on creating a safe, stable home for her son. She is deeply committed to giving him the best life possible, but the rising cost of living makes it difficult to meet their basic needs.
