Recipient story

Elderly person devastated in the recent bushfire, complete loss of home & all possession
2026 Victoria Bushfires
Other hardship(s)
Community minded elderly person spent lifetime building home, self-sufficient garden with family close. The intergenerational family adult children and their grandchildren have all shared this property. After the devastating bushfires the only remaining possessions were the clothes, they were standing in. Having spent their lives involved with local community projects they wish to rebuild in their beloved community. Due to their age, they are on a fixed income which can be limiting in their process of rebuilding. They have been generously offered a converted bus to live in -temporarily. They are still cooking on a small gas camp burner and hope that a person may assist them in providing a gas stove/oven for them to use until such time they rebuild.
This person is seeking a small garden shed, so that they may use as a pantry for dry goods and to store surplus garden vegetables.
In lieu of physical items vouchers would be greatly appreciated
