Request for donations for residential mental health inpatient unit.

We are a 10-bed mental health unit part of the Western Mental Health and Wellbeing services. Our team consists of psychosocial recovery practitioners, peer support workers, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists and doctors who provide recovery focused support, care and promote linkages in the community for those experiencing challenges with their mental health and need additional support. We offer support for clients after an inpatient admission to support clients ongoing recovery and transition home, and also provide an alternative service for those living in the community to receive inpatient care for their mental health without requiring hospital admission.

We are limited by funding to continue to meet the aims of our program which include recovery and therapeutic group program.
