Client with a purpose built unit for his disability was completely destroyed in the bushfires. Client's sibling is his full time carer and his home was on his their property, and was not covered under the insurance. Clients family has pooled together all their finances to fund a new purpose built unit, which has just been placed on the property.
The client along with his family have exhausted all funds and they have nothing left to cover costs of refurnishing the unit. On top of this the property has lost all boundary fencing. They have registered for Blaze Aid however cannot afford the materials to complete the works.
The family are struggling to cope financially and are just trying to make it through the day-to-day living expenses. They are still coming to terms with the grief of what they have lost and the long road of recovery.
