The client is a First Nations woman who has recently returned home and is actively working to re-establish stability in an overcrowded household. On her return, many of her personal belongings were no longer available, and she currently does not have a working washing machine in the house.
Limited financial resources and lack of access to transport make it difficult for her to replace large household items independently. Without essential furniture, she is doing her best to settle into a space that is not yet fully safe, comfortable, or functional.
Support at this time would make a meaningful difference. Access to a workable washing machine would support her sanitation, stability and independence.
