Our agency is currently supporting a single mother and her teenage child who have recently relocated interstate following experiences of historical family and domestic violence. The family made the move to establish safety, stability, and a fresh start away from previous circumstances.
Due to the relocation and the need to prioritise safety, the family arrived with limited personal belongings and are currently working to secure stable, long-term housing. As they rebuild their lives, they are experiencing financial hardship and require support to obtain essential household items, furniture, bedding, clothing, kitchenware, and other necessities needed to establish a safe and functional home environment.
Donations and practical assistance would significantly contribute to the family's ability to achieve stability, independence, and positive long-term outcomes. Any support provided will assist them in creating a secure foundation as they continue their transition and recovery.
