This young man has spent his formative years in and out of the hospital battling osteosarcoma. Throughout his treatment, he found immense comfort and joy in music therapy. His passion was so strong that he would frequently arrive early to his physiotherapy appointments just to spend extra time in the music therapy room.
Now that he has finished treatment, he is beginning the long, challenging journey of processing everything he has been through. While his peers are out experiencing typical young-adult milestones like clubbing or socializing, he is navigating the emotional aftermath of a life-altering cancer diagnosis.
Having his own keyboard would allow him to lean into music as a therapeutic outlet, providing him with a vital tool to heal, cope, and process this next chapter of his life.
