My client is a 52-year-old man, who has been diagnosed with ADHD and diabetes who has spent the past two years homeless, following a divorce. My client has two primary school aged children, and they have now secured a long-term, stable home through the Department of Housing, which will provide them with the stability they need to focus on their education and personal goals.
My client demonstrates significant care for his children and is child-focused when making decisions about their care and future. Due to being on Jobseeker payment only, whilst waiting for the relevant documentation to apply for Disability Support Pension, my client has requested material support to help him to set up his new home.
