We’re reaching out to ask for your kindness and generosity to support a local Indigenous family - a single mother & her three children aged 9, 15 & 16 who are experiencing significant hardship.
After leaving a long & traumatic domestic & family violence situation, & recovering from substance use, this mother is trying to create a safe & stable home for her children. Currently unemployed, she is struggling to cover even the most basic costs of living. The family often experiences food scarcity, & the children often wear clothes that are too small & very worn. The financial strain is immense, rent & bills take priority, leaving little to nothing left for fresh food, clothing or any extras.
The mother has recently learnt to drive & now has additional expenses associated with driving such as car registration & petrol. Any assistance you are able to provide would be so appreciated by this family. Your kindness will remind them that they are not alone & there is hope for a brighter future.
