Empty nesters recently asked to take in grandchildren while son seeks support for addiction. Separated from mother of children who is still using.

Now have a 1yo and 8yo living with them, the 8yo has never been to school. They live on a single income and aren’t receiving any benefits currently to help provide for their grandchildren.

I am writing to personally thank 'GIVIT' for a generous 'Simply Groceries eGift card' voucher that I was gifted, with $100 worth of essential spending money for my family & I to utilise at our own discretion. I can happily report this donation has assisted the purchase of a basic, solo, wifi security camera, with the excess going toward food for my teenage daughter who is currently taken on responsibilities around our home while I recover in a rehabilitation centre. Thank you for this kind gesture, as it has helped to improve security measures around our home & support my daughter to purchase daily essential items such as groceries, basic hygiene & cleaning products.
