Seeking support for a single mother who is facing significant hardship while doing everything she can to keep her 14‑year‑old son safe, engaged, and supported.
This mum is navigating severe mental health challenges, yet she continues to put her son’s needs before her own. Her son is currently struggling with school engagement and has become involved with the youth justice system, and she is doing everything within her power to guide him back onto a positive path.
Despite her limited resources, she consistently prioritises his wellbeing, often going without her own basic necessities to ensure he has what he needs.
Right now, this mum cannot afford essential items such as clothing, hygiene products, and basic self‑care supplies. Most of her income is directed toward bills and meeting her son’s needs. This has left her with no capacity to look after herself, despite the immense pressure she is under.
