Help needed to provide food and necessities to young children impacted by abuse as their and mother undergoes Cancer treatment. Your support will provide children with basic need of food, vital to their security and safety as they overcome the trauma of abuse, whilst easing some of the significant burden on their mother as she continues her battle cancer and grieves the death of her loved one.

This mum is really struggling with the physical. emotional and financial toll of Cancer treatment and its side effects which is compounded by the demands of trying to support and care for children who carry trauma of abuse at the same time. Just when things felt like they could not get any harder she received the devastating news that her best friend has died.

This has been an overwhelming and paralysing situation for this mother who is struggling to manage her time, energy and money as she tries to navigate significant adversity.
Due to this significant hardship of this whole family your support in any amount will make a significant impact in these children's life by showing them that they don't deserve abuse and there are people such as yourself who do care about them and their mum.

Your support will help mum to put food on the table and keep fuel in the car which is vital to her accessing treatment and domestic violence recovery support for the children.

I am writing to personally thank 'GIVIT' for a generous 'Simply Groceries eGift card' voucher that I was gifted, with $100 worth of essential spending money for my family & I to utilise at our own discretion. I can happily report this donation has assisted the purchase of a basic, solo, wifi security camera, with the excess going toward food for my teenage daughter who is currently taken on responsibilities around our home while I recover in a rehabilitation centre. Thank you for this kind gesture, as it has helped to improve security measures around our home & support my daughter to purchase daily essential items such as groceries, basic hygiene & cleaning products.
