Single mother of three children, with the youngest being an infant, is seeking support. Mum is currently the sole provider for her children and has no informal supports.
Mum has a history of domestic violence in previous relationships with the father of her older children. Her most recent partner separated from her shortly before the birth of their child. As a result, mum is experiencing increased stress and a decline in her mental health due to the demands of sole parenting.
Due to significant financial hardship, mum is prioritising food and essential needs and is struggling to prepare her school-aged children for school. Support with school-related items would significantly assist this family and reduce current stressors.
