The family recently relocated to transitional housing following an urgent move from refuge due to safety concerns. Both primary‑school‑aged children have remained enrolled at their current school to maintain stability and preserve the safe, supportive relationships they have begun to form. As a result of the increased distance, the mother is now responsible for transporting the children to and from school, leading to a significant rise in fuel expenses.

Domestic & Family Violence
A mother of seven young children has endured years of severe domestic and family violence at the hands of her ex-partner. She and her children are now safely residing in a DFV transitional property, where they are beginning to rebuild their lives in a secure and nurturing environment.

This is the first time the family has experienced this form of safety and security after a long period of time living in motels and refuges.

We are seeking support to set up this families new home where they can create new, safe memories as a family and rebuild their connection as a family.

I am writing to personally thank 'GIVIT' for a generous 'Simply Groceries eGift card' voucher that I was gifted, with $100 worth of essential spending money for my family & I to utilise at our own discretion. I can happily report this donation has assisted the purchase of a basic, solo, wifi security camera, with the excess going toward food for my teenage daughter who is currently taken on responsibilities around our home while I recover in a rehabilitation centre. Thank you for this kind gesture, as it has helped to improve security measures around our home & support my daughter to purchase daily essential items such as groceries, basic hygiene & cleaning products.
