With fuel prices almost doubling in price the last few weeks, the ripple effect to cancer patients in NSW is disastrous.
Faced with all the usual expenses suffered by people in the country seeking treatment, they are now having to face an extra burden. We know people will decide to seek treatment or refuse it based on the cost to their family.

Cancer is expensive. And for those living outside metropolitan areas, it is almost always more expensive. That’s why we aim to ease the financial burden of cancer for local patients. Our aim is simple but vital: to ensure no one faces cancer treatment alone or without support. We help with the everyday costs that quickly add up — petrol vouchers for long trips to treatment, paying for accommodation far from home, covering groceries, utility bills, and out-of-pocket medical expenses.
