Young girls in remote communities often face challenges that impact their sense of safety, confidence, and wellbeing. Many do not have a safe, calm place to gather, talk, rest, or be supported by trusted women. They are growing up in environments where isolation, overcrowded housing, limited services, and social pressures make it difficult to feel secure or connected.
Our program supports these girls by creating safe, nurturing spaces where they can come together, build friendships, learn wellbeing skills, express themselves creatively, and feel seen and valued. These spaces help reduce isolation, strengthen resilience, and give girls the opportunity to grow in confidence while surrounded by supportive female role models.
Support is needed to provide the essential items that make these safe spaces possible, helping young girls feel protected, encouraged, and empowered as they navigate their everyday lives.
