The client is an elderly woman living alone and currently managing blood clot–related health issues. Before her illness, she was employed but had to stop working due to her medical condition. She is divorced and now resides in public housing.
Despite her health challenges, the client maintains her home well and shows great effort in managing her affairs. However, she faces ongoing financial hardship. Her disability pension primarily covers rent, utilities, and medication costs, leaving her with very limited funds for food and other daily necessities.
Additionally, the client provides care and support for her elderly mother, who is also in poor health.
Given these circumstances, we are kindly requesting grocery and pharmacy vouchers to help relieve some of her immediate financial and nutritional stress.
