Colac-Otway resident with multiple health issues evacuated for 15 days with his pet dog. His pet dog suffered a heart attack and is now on life saving medication for the rest of its life. The resident is a disability support recipient and was hit with large expenses during evacuation which he cannot cover. The resident lost his personal belongings which were in a storage container. The resident is left devastated and his limited income has set him back for many years. Some vouchers and support could be useful for recouping his losses. Resident lost his 16ft container which was his main storage item as he lives in a very compact living arrangement barely fit for an adult.
