Childrens Clothing - General

We currently have 6x residential homes with vulnerable children who are escaping family domestic violence, neglect and or abuse. Many children arrive with little or nothing, having had to leave unsafe situations at very short notice. As a non-government organisation, we rely on and deeply appreciate the community’s support in providing essential items to help these children feel safe, supported, and able to thrive.
Children and young people in care often experience significant trauma, instability, and social isolation, including the impacts of domestic and family violence. Providing Close the Gap T-shirts offers more than just clothing; it gives children a sense of belonging, inclusion, cultural awareness, and connection to important conversations around equality and community. Many children entering care arrive with limited personal belongings and may miss opportunities to participate in school and community events due to financial hardship.
