A family with four children have taken on the care of additional family members (6 children) in need of support

A loving family with four children has taken on the care of an additional six children due to the complex risky home situation and the trauma the children had been exposed to.
The loving family now have 10 children all living in their home. The children are all related to each other (cousins) and are happy to share their space in the 5 x 2 home.
The mother of this loving family was previously employed as a disability support worker, she is no longer able to work due to the additional care responsibilities. The six children all have complex needs due the trauma they have witnessed or experienced and the need for them to have specialised supports.
Although the family have access to Centrelink and child protection assist with some additional funding, the family are under financial stress due to the increase in power, water, etc. the extra use of appliances eg. the need to replace the oven. They are trying to manage on one income, which is difficult for them.
