65 year old woman doing her best to survive while living alone in her motorhome, relying solely on JobSeeker payments. After recently escaping domestic violence, her motorhome—her only home—was vandalised, leaving the mirrors damaged and the rear window smashed. She cannot afford the insurance excess to make it safe again. She continues to face intimidation and threats from a man who frequents the same caravan parking areas, leaving her too frightened to seek a DVO for fear of retaliation. Living with a broken rear window has left her feeling exposed and unsafe. She also lives with sciatica, chronic joint pain and depression, sleeps on a thin foam mattress that worsens her pain, and cannot afford essential healthcare, including an eye examination. Any support to help restore her safety, dignity and hope would make a profound difference to this courageous woman.
