Community member is a 39 year old woman who has recently arrived in the local area after leaving an unsafe and unstable living situation in a rural community. She was left at a local park with only a tent and minimal personal belongings. She currently has no stable accommodation, limited financial resources, and no immediate support network in the area.
The community member presented as highly vulnerable, distressed, and experiencing significant instability relating to homelessness, safety concerns, lack of food security, and limited access to basic essentials. Immediate practical support has been provided through emergency relief, including blankets, basic food supplies, and initial welfare support.
Additional assistance is urgently required to support the community member to safely stabilise and begin re-establishing her life. Funding support is being sought for emergency accommodation, food and essential item vouchers, and basic living needs while longer-term housing.
