Mother has left a situation of family and domestic violence and is rebuilding a safe, stable life for herself and her young child. She is currently living in a private rental with a long-term friend. Mother is studying and working part-time while being the primary carer. She is responsible for transporting her child via public transport to attend visits with the father, who was the perpetrator of violence. The father does not assist with transport and provides minimal financial support. Mother also covers the majority of childcare costs, which is essential for her to continue her studies and maintain employment. As a result, she is experiencing ongoing financial hardship while establishing independence and stability.
