Recipient story
Following floods, bushfires and ongoing economic hardship, many residents continue to experience isolation, anxiety and the impacts of trauma. Through flow arts, creative movement and community participation, these events provide a safe, welcoming space where people can connect, build confidence and experience a sense of belonging.
People who were previously socially isolated have formed friendships and become part of a supportive community. Families, young people, older residents, people living with disability and those facing financial hardship regularly attend. This volunteer-led initiative is helping people reconnect, recover and thrive while strengthening community resilience.
