Flood affected, has 15 yr old nephew in her care full time who has disabilities. Has been living in the Pod village in Ballina. Moving into their forever home with nothing but the clothes on their backs. They have no furniture as it was all lost in the Lismore floods in 2022. Everything they owned was lost, clothing, furniture, white goods the lot. This lady has taken on care of her 15 yr old nephew with intellectual disabilities. He was also with her during the floods. They we rescued from a roof and this has left them both with massive anxiety exacerbated with each time it rains heavily or the rain looks set in. Please open your hearts to this beautiful little family. They now have a brand new AHO home out of the flood zone and it's theirs forever.
