This young man, aged 16, has recently secured his first independent and stable housing after a lifetime of experiencing homelessness and family instability. Despite enduring ongoing challenges, including poor family relationships and a lack of consistent support, he has shown remarkable resilience and determination. Now in Year 11, he is committed to building a safe and self-led future. However, balancing education and the costs of living independently at such a young age makes it extremely difficult to afford essential household goods and furniture. He is reaching out for support to help turn his new space into a true home—a place where he can focus on his education, wellbeing, and long-term stability. Providing household items would offer not just comfort, but a foundation for continued growth and independence.
